ROOTS... ...of grapevine growing in Vipavska valley go back to the years 1905 - 1906, when the people in Vrhpolje began to vaccinate grapevines. They found a vaccinate society, which was working till the second world war. In that time they vaccinated the bases like Rupestris, du Lot, Riparia potalis and Aramon. After the war took this function the Agricultural cooperative Vrhpolje from 1949 over. They built the current object of Grapevine growing, which is made in style like French from 1956 to 1958 did.
